We didn't catch the darling's name but the owner said it was a rescue. I think it is still being bottle fed regularly, which is why it was out at an event.

The local Humane Society was by appointment only so my husband and I decided to check out Petsmart to see if they had any cats for adoption. We found this little charmer who was about 15 weeks old. She was all alone, as her brother had been adopted out the day before and there were no other cats at the time. She was allowed to climb on the tops of the cages and explore the back room so she didn't get bored. She was defintely in need of someone to play with her. So we adopted her on December 23rd.

My sister cried and begged to feed her, so we put some food in a bowl, which she proceeded to devour. Over the course of a few months, she began to fatten up.

BB and Uno (Dogs)These sweeties were on a kill list at a Memphis TN shelter. Both had health issues and had little chance of adoption. They were transported to Ohio for us by a Lab Rescue. BB has been cured of the mange she was suffering from, and Uno is currently midway through treatment for heart worm.
Baxter (Boxer Mix)We got Baxter from the Humane Society. He came in with two siblings and his mother, who was a full breed boxer. Baxter and his siblings were found on the side of the road and rescued. When we saw him, we knew we had to have him.

Mugsy (Terrier)I adopted him in July. He likes to squeak his rubber chicken and take YOU for a walk on his leash. He will put leash in his mouth and pull you because you're too slow. That and he loves for you to chase him, and stalk.
In Memory of SimbaSomeone threw him in a dumpster with his umbilical cord attached. My Sister at Save-A-Pet brought him to me where I worked at Petsmart. And it was love at first sight!
Bear and Mr. PiddlesI owned Bear's daddy (my king shepherd, Charlie) for 10 years, He fell in love with my brother's dog. I delivered all 12 puppies at 3am. The pups were 2 months old and my shep died in my arms. Bear was the one who stole my heart.

He has truly saved my life.
Koneko (Grey Tabby)Koneko was a feral kitten that lived in a shed at my son's work. He managed to capture her in the spring and we have been taking care of her every since. At first, she hid in his bedroom all the time but has slowly warmed up to all of us. Today, she discovered the Christmas tree.
Skipper (Groenendael)I got Skipper as a little 8 week old puppy from Beljekali Kennels Australia. Skipper loves to receive cuddles from my elderly disabled mum who lives with us and have his head scratched just below his ears. Suzie (Long Haired Dachshund)5 years ago those big brown eyes looked at me through the bars of her cage at PAWS in Seattle. I really needed a friendly, easy going dog to keep me company. She loves to walk through tall grasses and sit under leafy plants. In the summer she spent happy times sitting just where you see her and squirrel spotting.
Ava (Chihuahua/Pit Bull Mix)I was given Ava when she was 1 year old by my niece as she was going to take her to the pound if she couldn't find her a home. None of her other dogs could get along with Ava. Ava doesn't like to eat from a bowl. She picks up her bowl with food in it and walks across the room emptying her bowl as she walks, then she eats her food from the floor.
Isaac (St. Bernard)I rescued Isaac a year and a half ago. We have bonded in a way that I have never experienced with an animal before. He is gentle, loving, and very devoted. Isaac loves to give a paw and nudge you when he wants to be petted. He also loves to roll around and sleep in piles of leaves!

Binki-Boo (Chihuahua)Binki can sniff out anything. If I bring home bags of shopping & there is a toy in there for her, that I haven't even told her about - she will immediately sit up (I call it Sitting Pretty) with her 2 front paws up, and do an excited whimper! It's as if she's saying, "Look Mummy! I'm sitting pretty! Can I have my toy now?" ''
Lexi Lou (Blue Fawn Pit)We got her at the pound. Everyone was passing her up because she was very sick. She was missing most of her fur, scabbed up, and oozing from her infection. We nursed her back to health and from our labor of love she grew very attached to our family as we did her.
Snuggles (Cat)Snuggles was found in a dumpster at the local dump. She was found when they were dumping out the dumpster and she rolled out with a damaged front leg. Her front leg needed 4 staples to hold it in place till it healed. She was only about 9-10 days old when I got her. This is a picture of her about a week and a half after rescuing her.
Smokey (American Shorthair)My barn cat had two kittens. Smokey and his brother. He loves to follow you around the house and meow for attention.
Gus (Terrier Mix)We adopted him form the local Humane Society as a puppy. We named him Gusto Tuesday Ragamuffin as he is full of gusto, it was a Tuesday we adopted him and he looked like a ragamuffin!
Connor Allen (Tiger Stripe Cat)This little love bug was dumped in front of the local dollar store. Through a horrendous rain storm, he stayed hoping someone would come back. For 3 days the ladies at the store and the store next door, fed him, let him inside the tiny store, and put him on social media, hoping he was just lost. On the 4th day, I came out of the store and he was sitting there like "Can you take me home now?".
